The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) helps Americans start, grow, and build resilient businesses. The SBA funds Small Business Development Centers, International Trade Centers and Procurement Technical Assistance Centers to provide counseling and training to small businesses including working with the SBA to develop and provide informational tools to support business start-ups and existing business expansion.
The agency also helps small businesses get funding by setting guidelines for loans and reducing lender risk. These SBA-backed loans make it easier for small businesses to get the funding they need.
